Karate cavies! The descendants of wild Cavia aperea seemed to be much more agile than their domesticated conspecifics - they jumped fast, high and far when fighting.

The Cavia aperea enclosure in Apenheul. Apenheul is a dutch zoo close to Apeldoorn which focuses on primates, but you can also find a few other species there.Is it just me who almost always finds the wild form prettier than the domesticated one?
